Plot
At an elite all-girls Catholic boarding school near Vienna, the once-thriving institution faces a troubling decline in faith, leaving the upper floors eerily deserted. A passionate young nun, determined to reignite spiritual fervor, focuses her energy on her students, especially Martha, a devoted 12-year-old eager to atone for the world's sins. Under the nun's guidance, Martha receives a penance belt and is led to the hauntingly empty upper floor, setting the stage for a poignant exploration of faith, sacrifice, and the battle against spiritual apathy in a changing world.
