Plot

Sylvain and Pierre have spent a decade evading the law following a custody dispute that sent their father, Yves, into hiding. Now young adults, the brothers are weary from their nomadic lifestyle and yearn for the freedoms of youth. When the authorities finally track them down, they must flee once more, leading to Pierre's sudden disappearance. Stranded with their father on a secluded island in the Loire River, Sylvain encounters Gilda, his first crush, who becomes a pivotal figure in his quest for independence and a taste of “the good life.”
