Plot

Lt. Frank Hewitt defies his superior's orders to launch a brutal assault on peaceful Native Americans and decides to return to Texas to warn the locals. Upon his arrival, he faces hostility, as the community views him, a Union officer, as a traitor while most men fight for the Confederacy. Undeterred, Frank persuades the women of the town about the impending threat and takes it upon himself to train them in defense tactics. As tensions rise, he prepares them for the inevitable conflict ahead, hoping to protect their homes and lives.
