Plot

Duke Fergus finds love with the captivating Ann 'Flaxen' Tarry amidst the vibrant yet perilous Barbary Coast of early 1900s San Francisco. After being swindled by the unscrupulous gambler Boss Tito Morell, Duke hones his gambling skills and returns to reclaim his fortune. With newfound wealth, he establishes his own venue, showcasing Flaxen's talents. However, their dreams are shattered when the devastating 1906 earthquake strikes, leaving their ambitions in ruins.
