Plot

Morroe Rieff receives the shocking news of his friend Leslie Braverman's death. Meeting Leslie's widow, Inez, who seems more interested in flirting than mourning, Morroe rallies his fellow writers—Barnet, Felix, and Holly—to honor their late friend at the funeral. Their journey, however, is fraught with unexpected challenges that threaten to derail their plans, testing their resilience and camaraderie.
