The Sea in Between (2024)

Plot

A discontented teenage boy finds himself trapped on a small boat alongside an inappropriate older tourist while assisting his father with their family fishing business. As he impatiently anticipates his father's return with the day’s catch, the tourist begins making increasingly suggestive remarks, pushing the boy to confront not only the uncomfortable situation but also his own frustrations with life and family expectations. The tense atmosphere on the boat serves as a backdrop for self-discovery and the struggle for personal boundaries amidst unwanted advances.
