Martin Pechlát, a talented Czech actor, embarked on his artistic journey after graduating from a technical school, initially working for three years as a sound engineer at Czech Television. Seeking to deepen his craft, he pursued studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU), focusing on puppetry and alternative theater.

Following his graduation, Pechlát joined the Klicperovo Theatre in Hradec Králové, where he caught the attention of director Vladimír Morávek. This led to his role as the older brother of a slightly challenged protagonist in the poignant romantic comedy "NUDA V BRNĚ" (2003), sharing the screen with notable actors such as Miroslav Donutil and Arnošt Goldflam.

His career continued to flourish when director Jiří Vejdělek cast him as an eccentric loner in the summer comedy "ÚČASTNÍCI ZÁJEZDU" (2006), alongside talented performers like Anna Polívková and Eva Holubová. Pechlát also earned acclaim for his performances in the drama-comedy "VÁCLAV" (2007) and the popular film "VRATNÉ LAHVE" (2007), which resonated strongly with audiences.

Currently, Pechlát predominantly performs at the Komedie Theatre, while also gracing other prominent stages in Prague, including Divadlo v Řeznické, Archa, and the National Theatre, showcasing his versatility and commitment to the performing arts.
