Plot
Jiří Arvéd Smíchovský's life unfolds as a complex tapestry of intellect and contradiction. A highly educated hermeticist, he held doctorates in law, theology, and philosophy, coupled with fluency in five languages. Deeply enamored with books and the occult, he engaged in magical practices and mingled with Freemasons, all while being a member of the National Fascist Community and grappling with his homosexuality. His allegiances shifted during tumultuous times, as he collaborated with the Nazis during the war, only to later work with the communist StB, revealing the tensions between his beliefs and actions.
