Plot
The wives of affluent men lead lives of leisure, thanks to their staff—cooks, maids, hairdressers, manicurists, governesses, teachers, tailors, and more—who handle their daily needs. As a result, these women do not pursue careers and rely entirely on their husbands' wealth, making their thoughts predominantly focused on them. However, the husbands remain faceless figures in the narrative, as the women compete for the same elusive man. Those already in relationships are determined to hold onto their husbands, while those still searching are intent on stealing someone else's spouse.
