Plot
Following the devastation of the Trojan Wars, Queen Hecuba assesses the ruins of her once-great kingdom. Grieving the loss of her son, she must support his widow, Andromache, as she raises their young son, Astyanax, alone. Meanwhile, Hecuba's daughter, Cassandra, dreads the prospect of enslavement at the hands of the conquering Greeks. The situation intensifies as Helen of Troy faces the threat of execution, while Astyanax finds himself targeted as the last surviving male heir of the Trojan lineage. Despair and uncertainty loom over the defeated women of Troy.
