Plot

Betty, the headstrong daughter of a wealthy tycoon, defies her father by eloping with the broke Jean, escaping to France to indulge in a lavish lifestyle funded by her father's empire. When her father fabricates a story about his business failing, he intervenes, prompting Betty to abandon her opulent existence. Stripped of her luxury, she must adapt and find work at a nightclub, facing the harsh realities of independence and the consequences of her choices.
