Eve Best, an Olivier award-winner, and BAFTA-nominated Anne Reid lead a vibrant new adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s comedy, A Woman of No Importance. Directed by Dominic Dromgoole, former Artistic Director of Shakespeare’s Globe, this production is part of the Classic Spring Theatre Company’s Oscar Wilde Season and will be broadcast live from the Vaudeville Theatre in London’s West End. Set during a lively house party filled with eccentric characters, the story revolves around an earnest American woman, a hedonistic English lord, and a naïve young man, all while a woman nearby harbors a long-hidden secret. Wilde's sharp wit and critique of Victorian society remain strikingly relevant.
