Plot

Set against the backdrop of the Northwest Frontier of India, the 41st Bengal Lancers, under the stern leadership of Colonel Tom Stone, face off against the insurgent Mohammed Khan. After suffering two losses, experienced yet defiant Lieutenant Alan McGregor is joined by the brash Lieutenant Forsythe and the naïve Lieutenant Donald Stone, the Colonel's son. Determined to earn his place, Donald struggles for approval, while forging a bond with McGregor. When Donald is captured by Khan, McGregor and Forsythe defy orders, disguising themselves as Indian merchants to infiltrate Khan's stronghold and rescue their comrade.
