Plot
Ernest Klenk, a timid clerk at a credit card company, struggles under the weight of demanding colleagues, advancing technology, and the stress of an impending wedding. His anxiety culminates in a significant blunder: mistakenly granting a credit card to mobster Foots Pulardos, who intends to escape to Mexico with his girlfriend, Sugar Pye, to evade the law. As Klenk attempts to rectify his error, he finds himself unwittingly entangled in Foots' dangerous plans, plunging him into a chaotic world of crime and deception.
