Plot
Will Penny, a seasoned ranch hand, secures a position at a remote ranch tasked with patrolling the boundaries for intruders and squatters. During his patrols, he discovers a woman and her son have taken refuge in his mountain cabin after her guide to Oregon abandoned them. Hesitant to evict them as the harsh winter approaches, Will decides to let them stay until the weather improves. As the cold melts away, so does the tension between them, leading to an unexpected romance that blossoms amidst the rugged landscape.
