Plot

Grégoire Lecomte, a struggling actor desperate for steady work, accidentally finds himself entangled with the mafia during a screen test for a killer role. Mistaking their don for a film producer, he unwittingly becomes embroiled in a deadly plot. The mob believes he’s their scheduled hitman and has him sign a contract to eliminate notorious gun dealer Otto Krampe at his birthday celebration in Saint-Tropez. Grégoire remains blissfully unaware that his task involves a genuine assassination, requiring a lethal dose of potassium cyanide hidden in an umbrella.
