Plot

During the harsh winter of 1942, a crucial convoy of 35 civilian vessels sets sail from Iceland to deliver essential supplies to the Soviet Union. Despite the protection of Allied naval forces, critical intelligence failures leave the convoy vulnerable to relentless assaults from German air and naval units. As they navigate the treacherous Arctic waters, inexperienced sailors confront overwhelming odds, battling both the elements and enemy attacks. Ultimately, only 12 of the original ships manage to reach their destination, highlighting the perilous nature of their mission and the resilience of those on board.
