Plot
After losing her father in a tragic car accident at age ten, Michiko has been raised by her mother, Kyoko. Now a high school sophomore, Michiko eagerly receives her first cell phone as a birthday gift. Her excitement quickly turns to apprehension when Taeko, the popular girl in class, pressures her into joining the social networking platform "AvaQ." As Michiko navigates the complexities of adolescence, friendship, and online interactions, she must confront the challenges of fitting in and the impact of social media on her life.
