The Last Island (1990)

Plot

A tragic plane crash leaves a handful of survivors on a remote island, including two women, five men, and a dog. Among them are a Canadian lawyer, a French biologist, a wealthy Scottish financier, a young American, an outgoing Australian, an Eastern European, and a British army major. As they grapple with their new reality, the group starts to lose hope for rescue, uncovering the grim possibility that a catastrophic event has struck the outside world. Tensions rise as they confront both the challenges of survival and their uncertain fate.
