Plot
A young artist arrives at an English estate to provide art lessons to the enchanting Laura Fairlie, only to encounter a bizarre cast of characters. Among them is Anne Catherick, a mysterious woman in white who bears an uncanny resemblance to Laura. The scheming Count Fosco aims to secure an inheritance for Sir Percival Glyde, who intends to marry Laura, while the hypochondriac Mr. Fairlie despises noise. Adding to the intrigue is the eccentric Countess Fosco, harboring her own secrets. The artist also finds himself captivated by Marion Halcomb, a relative of Laura caught in the Count's machinations.
