The Last Days on Mars (2013)

Plot

As the first manned mission to Mars nears its conclusion, a crew member at Tantalus Base uncovers what he believes to be fossilized bacteria. Eager for recognition, he ventures out against orders to gather additional samples, but his excitement leads to disaster when the unstable terrain gives way, plunging him into a deep crevice. His distraught teammates scramble to retrieve him, but panic ensues when another crew member goes missing. The team soon realizes that their groundbreaking discovery may harbor a deadly threat, turning their final hours on Mars into a struggle for survival.
