Plot

Old wood carver Mr. Meacham has captivated children for years with his stories of a fearsome dragon lurking in the Pacific Northwest woods. His daughter Grace, a forest ranger, dismisses these tales as mere folklore until she encounters Pete, a mysterious 10-year-old boy living in the forest with a giant green dragon named Elliott. Pete's vivid descriptions mirror Mr. Meacham's stories, prompting Grace and her friend Natalie, the daughter of a lumber mill owner, to uncover the truth about Pete’s origins and the reality of the legendary dragon.
