Plot

John Vandermark, portrayed by Alan Cumming, extends his generosity to Sebastian St. Germain, a struggling writer played by David Boreanaz. However, Sebastian's prolonged stay reveals his manipulative nature, prompting John to demand repayment for his hospitality. An accidental death shifts the dynamic, leading John to honor Sebastian’s legacy by posthumously publishing his manuscript. Yet, as the book gains acclaim, John can't resist claiming credit for the brilliance. To his dismay, the late Sebastian returns in spirit, intent on confronting the betrayal and seeking justice from beyond the grave.
