At just 15, Rehtaeh Parsons attended a party that would forever alter her life. After being sexually assaulted, she was haunted by the spread of graphic images online, which led to relentless bullying and emotional turmoil. Tragically, her struggle culminated in suicide less than two years later, sparking outrage and highlighting the devastating impact of rape culture and mental health issues. In response, her parents and supporters, including the activist group Anonymous, rallied to hold accountable those who failed her, compelling the Nova Scotia government and RCMP to confront the case and seek justice for Rehtaeh.
