Plot

The War of 1812 is a two-hour exploration of a pivotal moment in North American and global history. This conflict significantly influenced the futures of America, Canada, and Britain; had a few key battles or choices turned out differently, the current map of the United States could appear shockingly altered. The war helped to solidify Canada's nationhood while simultaneously marking the decline of Native American aspirations for sovereignty. By the end of the war, the forced removal of Native nations had commenced in the southeast, setting the stage for a Cotton Kingdom reliant on slavery and a United States poised to emerge as a global power despite not winning the war. The enduring spirit of democracy managed to withstand immense external and internal challenges.
