In Dallas, detectives looked into the case of a 20-year-old woman who vanished without a trace. After a six-day search, they apprehended Douglas Edwards, who admitted to killing his ex-girlfriend, whose body was discovered strangled and burned in a secluded area. Two years later, seeking leniency from the court, Edwards chooses to have his sentencing decided by a jury.
