Episode Overview
Having just arrived in the United States, Palin spends his first night aboard the Queen Mary. After a few days, he hops on an Amtrak train to Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where he enjoys a scenic balloon ride and a thrilling dogsled adventure in Aspen. Realizing his mistake in not sticking with the Chicago-bound train, he rushes to leave the Rockies. He ultimately reaches New York, mirroring Phileas Fogg's timeline on Day 71, and boards the final ship of his journey. After eight days at sea, he lands in Felixstowe, stepping onto British soil for the first time in over two months. A few train transfers later, he arrives back at the Reform Club in London, only to find he's not permitted entry, completing his adventure in 79 days and 7 hours.
