Episode Overview
Feeling sorry for Ted, Mary invites him and Georgette over for brunch. While munching on an onion ring, Ted unexpectedly proposes to Georgette once more. To his surprise, she declines for the first time, but after a heartfelt discussion, they decide they want to marry immediately. They gather their friends: Lou, who arrives with mud from his son's football game, and Sue Ann, who comically shows up with a veil, flowers, and rice. Ted's mom can't attend due to washing her hair, but the bumbling minister arrives straight from a tennis match. As Ted struggles with wedding jitters, Lou reassures him. When asked if he takes Georgette as his wife, Ted hesitates but finally smiles and says, "I do."
