Overview
After a painful breakup, 30-year-old Mary Richards relocates to Minneapolis in hopes of reinventing herself. She reconnects with her landlord Phyllis and bonds with her lively upstairs neighbor, Rhoda. Soon, Mary secures a position as an associate producer at WJM, where she navigates the challenges of her demanding boss Lou, the quirky newswriter Murray, and the bumbling anchor Ted. As she balances her professional ambitions with personal friendships, Mary finds humor and strength in her new life, tackling the ups and downs of career and relationships in a rapidly changing world.
