Episode Overview

Tony and Doug find themselves suspended in time until a whimsical Merlin arrives at the Project headquarters. He pulls them from their stasis, commands them to serve him, and transports them to 544 A.D. in Cornwall. There, they encounter a young pre-King Arthur as they confront a band of Vikings. Following Merlin's instructions, they ally with Arthur, but the Vikings manage to kill Doug and capture both Tony and Arthur. Tony escapes with Arthur while Merlin and Guinevere rescue Doug. Just as the Project team prepares to retrieve them, Merlin intervenes, needing them where they are. Tony and Arthur are recaptured, and Doug gets caught while trying to help. A Viking kills Arthur, prompting a restrained Merlin to rewind time to save him. The trio escapes again, with Doug bringing reinforcements disguised as Vikings, while Tony and Arthur work to rescue Guinevere. In the end, everything aligns perfectly as Arthur and Guinevere plan
