Episode Overview
In the year 1287, Doug and Tony find themselves prisoners of the Mongols under the command of Genghis Khan's grandson, Baku. After enduring torture, Tony is saved by Doug, leading them to cross paths with Marco Polo, who is supporting Kublai Khan. Tony develops feelings for Sahib, Kublai Khan's daughter, who soon becomes a target for Baku's kidnapping. Utilizing a newfound black powder from Polo, they rescue her just as Baku's forces attack Polo's fort. The Project team attempts to provide artillery support. While Tony contemplates remaining with Sahib, she ultimately chooses her responsibilities, and the two bid farewell. Doug supplies the key ingredient to convert the black powder into gunpowder, allowing them to repel the invaders and escape.
