Frederick arrives in Spain without any trouble. Following her father's passing, Margaret relocates to London to stay with her aunt. Thornton discovers that Frederick is actually Margaret's brother. With the inheritance she received from her godfather, Mr. Bell, Margaret chooses to assist Mr. Thornton in keeping his mill from shutting down.
