Episode Overview
In June 1945, Detective Chief Superintendent Foyle remains on the job due to the lack of a suitable replacement. He is visited by Brigadier Timothy Wilson, his former commanding officer from World War I, who is seeking assistance in locating a Russian POW named Ivan Spiakov. This fugitive has recently escaped and is rumored to have been spotted in the Hastings region.
