Episode Overview
Ohio is gripped by fear as a mysterious sniper targets both civilians and law enforcement. In response to the escalating violence, the governor calls in the VCTF. Upon arrival, Sam, Bailey, and the team struggle to understand how the shooter can strike from such great distances. This skill reminds Bailey of a covert task force he faced during his Vietnam service. With help from his intelligence source, Casper, he learns the names of those operatives. Meanwhile, Sam analyzes evidence from the crime scenes, discovering that the sniper seems intent on crafting his own legend, similar to the Greek figure of the Archer. George identifies a potential suspect by combining Casper's intel with Sam's findings. As Bailey confronts his traumatic past linked to the sniper's task force, he resolves to stop the killer, culminating in a thrilling showdown. John, George, and Bailey investigate Lou Handleman, who is suspected of involvement.
