Episode Overview
A serial killer, known for using his bare hands, leaves the remains of his male victims at iconic Hollywood spots like the Brown Derby and the Trocadero. Sam believes the killer is someone attempting to deal with unresolved trauma from his past. The team follows a series of leads that ultimately point to an unassuming cab driver who appears too weak to commit such brutal acts. However, a search of his apartment uncovers evidence that aligns perfectly with Sam's profile. Despite passing a lie detector test, the contradictory results prompt his release. Later, it's discovered that all the victims had histories of abusing women. Sam then realizes the cab driver has multiple personality disorder, with a violent alter ego seeking revenge for the murder of his mother, who suffered abuse years ago. Meanwhile, Sam uncovers troubling details about her father's involvement in experiments that had deadly outcomes.
