Episode Overview

Joshua leads the Israelites to victory over Jericho, while Delilah betrays Samson during their conflict with the Philistines. Samuel anoints David as king, a decision that risks plunging the nation into civil strife. Saul becomes increasingly jealous when David triumphs over Goliath. Although King David initially brings prosperity to Israel, he soon succumbs to the temptations of power and his desire for Bathsheba. God shows mercy to David, and ultimately, his son Solomon constructs a magnificent temple for God in Jerusalem.
