Episode Overview

Kate struggles to maintain her composure and empathy when her father is hospitalized with a condition that could be treated surgically, but he declines the procedure due to his religious beliefs. Meanwhile, Geiger makes another appearance at the hospital, this time as a member of a clown troupe brought in to bring joy to the patients. Sutton faces a challenging situation when he helps deliver a baby with ambiguous genitalia, and the baby's parents are uncertain about how to react to their child’s unique situation.
