Episode Overview

When a fire breaks out at Maurice's home, he temporarily moves in with Holling and Shelly due to concerns about asbestos lingering after the blaze. However, Maurice becomes furious when Holling refuses to accept any payment for his hospitality. Meanwhile, Chris decides against taking a shot at a deer despite having a clear opportunity, but later, after receiving a bottle of Buckhorn whiskey, he goes in search of the same buck. Joel makes a significant medical breakthrough but finds himself without a colleague to celebrate with, prompting Maggie to invite another doctor to town for him to connect with.
