Ed confides in a friend about spotting Ruth-Anne and Walt together, and later, Ruth-Anne reveals their relationship to him, insisting he keep it a secret. However, the news accidentally gets out. Meanwhile, Maggie enlists Maurice's help to build an ultra-light, but she ends up firing him when his obsession with precision derails the project. Shelly becomes anxious about Holling's growing friendship with the priest who has arrived in town to baptize Randi.
