Episode Overview
Jay Blades and his team work to restore four cherished family heirlooms, each carrying its own set of memories. First, Rose Werner and her sister Linda arrive from Essex, hoping Suzie Fletcher can revitalize a beloved decorative leather box. Next, Peter Coxon seeks the help of Steve Fletcher and Dominic Chinea to repair a cherished childhood toy, a wind-up tin boat modeled after the iconic Bluebird speedboat from the 1950s. Upholsterer Hannah Weston-Smith takes on an old Italian dressing-table chair, worn and torn but filled with nostalgia for its owner, Chantal Taylor. Lastly, Danielle Woods and her daughter Niamh hope toy restorers Julie Tatchell and Amanda Middleditch can rescue a well-loved companion before it’s too late.
