S06E11 1960s Guitar
Episode Overview
Jay Blades and his team work to restore four beloved family heirlooms, each carrying its own cherished memories. Guitar specialist Julyan Wallis takes on a significant project: a 1960s guitar that once belonged to Robyn Griffith's grandfather, a jazz enthusiast who never had the chance to play this treasured instrument. Meanwhile, wood-restoration expert Will Kirk faces a challenge with a handmade card table brought in by Christine Clay from Doncaster, a piece full of sentimental value. Terry Poole from Berkshire arrives with his late father's bookmaker's clock bag, hoping that horologist Steve and leather specialist Susie can collaborate to revive this unique memento. Lastly, expert David Burville is challenged by Liz Harvey from Sheffield, who brings in the remnants of a Victorian clockwork pigeon that belonged to her grandmother, a nostalgic piece she has never seen in action.
