Episode Overview
Jay Blades and his team revive three cherished family heirlooms, each carrying precious memories. Silversmith Brenton West works on a sentimental salt and pepper music box belonging to Janice. This special item was a gift from her mother, who brought it back from Hong Kong during her father’s military service in the 1950s. Janice hopes her daughter will cherish it just as she did. Meanwhile, mechanical expert Steve Fletcher is challenged by a talking doll that's lost her voice, as he struggles to repair her tiny record player. Teddy bear specialists Julie Tatchell and Amanda Middleditch enjoy recreating the doll's original 1960s attire. Additionally, master hatter Jayesh Vaghela is tasked with restoring a significant hat worn by a prisoner of war during the construction of the Death Railway in World War II.
