S07E19 Vintage Pocket Camera
Episode Overview
Jay Blades and the team set out to restore three beloved family heirlooms, each rich with memories. Camera restorer Brenton West works on a vintage pocket camera, thought to have captured the last photo of a family before they separated after their mother’s passing. This treasured item, owned by Geoff, has been in the family since the early 1900s. Meanwhile, toy restorers Amanda Middleditch and Julie Tatchell focus on a 65-year-old stuffed pig in need of care. For owner Sally, this toy has been a lifelong friend, even receiving a blessing from her local vicar as a child. Lastly, ceramics expert Kirsten Ramsay carefully reconstructs a fragile stone plate from India, originally purchased by owner Amelia’s father during a work trip. It used to be a centerpiece in the family home until an unfortunate accident after Amelia's mother had a stroke shattered it.
