Martin receives a postcard from Clare announcing her marriage to Shane in Australia. As everyone gears up for Mandy's wedding, Archie is put through a series of "challenges" by his ex-marine friends to prepare for the big day. Meanwhile, Matt reluctantly agrees to attend the wedding. At Mandy's hen party, Martin encounters a girl named Rachel, who resembles Clare in many ways—though she isn't Irish, a nurse, or even has the right hair color. He sets up a date with her, giving her a wig similar to Clare's and asking her to adopt an Irish accent. On the wedding day, Martin learns the limousine is unavailable and borrows an old Nissan to drive Mandy to the church, with Matt hidden in the boot. Upon arrival, there’s no sign of Archie, and the best man delivers tragic news: Archie has died in a car accident. Distraught, Mandy speeds off, intent on self-harm, but Martin intervenes and talks her down. Back home,
