For two years, Stephanie Blake (Michelle Bonnard) has been tormented by a man who identifies himself as 'Giovanni.' While she knows nothing about him, he seems to have an unsettling awareness of her life, even the smallest details in her bathroom cabinet. His emails and calls grow increasingly menacing, yet without a direct physical threat, the police struggle to assist her. After initial inquiries yield no leads, they reluctantly close the case. However, a shocking turn of events deeply unsettles the police team. A seemingly straightforward prosecution becomes complex when critical evidence is ruled inadmissible. Facing off against Defense Barrister Evelyn Wyndham (Anna Chancellor), James finds himself in a tough position. When one of the officers steps up as a crucial witness, doubts arise about whether his motives are sincere or driven by guilt. Will he risk perjury to secure a just outcome?
