Episode Overview
Paul's adventure begins on the rugged west coast at Loch Hourn, where the winds howl. Moving inland, he arrives at the tranquil Loch Quoich, where he learns about Scotland's last outlaw. At Loch Lochy, Paul encounters a couple who share their unforgettable story of a legendary creature named Lizzie. Taking a detour south, he visits a dilapidated bridge, the site of the first shots of the '45. Paul then strolls along an old railway track above the Great Glen, catching the scent of diesel from a vintage shunter at a station in the midst of restoration. His journey continues along a canal to Fort Augustus, where he seeks out the original fort. At Loch Ness, Paul meets a man who, as a boy, had an extraordinary encounter with John Cobb, the Gentle Giant, known for being the fastest man on water.
