Episode Overview
Diane is declared dead, leaving Lionel to be cared for by social services. Bob offers him a place at the rectory. Meanwhile, Martha and Rhonda's plans to hold self-defense classes hit a snag when Helen Kennedy from the Parish Council blocks their use of the church hall. She also raises concerns about Bob taking Lionel in due to his past drug involvement at school. Sarah is representing Brian, an actor injured at a local store, but Elly refuses to issue a sick certificate, claiming there’s no medical proof of his injury. Sarah suspects Elly's personal bias is influencing her decision. When Elly sees Brian performing at the mall, she takes Sarah along to witness it. On a different note, Chris takes Leanne out for lunch, and she reciprocates with a lavish champagne lunch the following day.
