Episode Overview
Bob decides to enroll Lionel back in school, but on his first day, Lionel brandishes a knife at two boys who taunt him about his mother. This prompts Bob to share his own troubled past, recalling a time when he fashioned a gun for self-defense, which ultimately led to a friend's injury. Meanwhile, Helen Kennedy convenes a meeting with the Parish Council, who demand that Bob have Lionel moved out within two weeks. Bob's friend, youth worker Peter Lewis, offers to take Lionel in. Lisa starts a work placement at a fancy restaurant, trying to charm the head chef, Geoffrey. At the same time, Chris receives a romantic red rose from Leanne. However, Lisa notices Leanne dining with two different men on consecutive nights while she’s at work. Additionally, Rhonda struggles to find a babysitter for Claire when Paul wants to take her out, and her attempt to ask Sarah backfires due to the tension between Sarah and Claire.
