Daniel surprises Elly with a ring, and Bob struggles to mask his heartbreak as he watches her beam with joy. Meanwhile, Megan's antics spiral out of control, leading to an embarrassing moment for Chris when she shows up at the pub in a provocative outfit. Bob and Harley decide to assist Annie’s mother with her care, and Jennifer offers her support as well. However, Annie's mother is resistant to their help and dismisses Harley. When Harley visits her alone, Edna traps them in the living room and ignites the house. Bob arrives just in time to witness the flames engulfing the building.
