Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu rushes outside, soaring through the air like an airplane, when he notices that the snowman's carrot nose has fallen off. He quickly reattaches it and, upon turning the head, it resembles a rhino's horn. Afterward, he hops onto a sledge and starts drumming on his belly. Soon, he spots Pingo gliding by on his new skis. Impressed, Pingu decides to join him but, lacking skis, he scavenges materials from a nearby ruined igloo to create his own makeshift pair. The two friends climb a mountain, with Pingo almost losing his balance. They have a blast racing down, with Pingo teasing Pingu, but both end up breaking their skis. After patching them up as best they can, they opt to go home, each on a single ski, singing joyfully while walking arm-in-arm.
